A Letter from Ryan & Lindsay
Thank you for considering us as parents to your child. We are a fun-loving and energetic Christian couple looking to embark upon the journey of becoming first-time parents.
Our home is one filled with love, laughter, fun, and a focus on quality family time and education. We would love to share these characteristics with your child. We are in a loving marriage of seven years and believe God has called us to expand our family by offering a loving home for your child.
About Us
We met in college, and have been best friends ever since. During our marriage, we have experienced multiple miscarriages and we are excited to become parents through adoption. We lead an active lifestyle, which includes walking, jogging, riding bikes, or sightseeing together. We like trying new restaurants (and making several return visits to our favorites), watching movies, and visiting parks, beaches, and museums.
We are close with our families and enjoy quality time with them. We are also very involved with our church family, and participate in and lead certain ministries. We are excited to share all of these experiences and gain some new ones with your child.
About Ryan
Ryan is a great husband who loves God. He is an urban planner by trade and diligently works to positively shape his community. He enjoys jogging in the park and working out at the gym. He is also an avid car fan and spends many afternoons tinkering with his car.
Ryan is fun, energetic, and always on the go. He is caring and likes to bring out the best in people. He also likes gummy worms, crossword puzzles, and Lindsay’s home cooking (especially her corn pudding). As a father, Ryan most looks forward to participating in fun and meaningful activities with your child.
About Lindsay
Lindsay is a wonderful wife who loves God and family. As a hospital pharmacist, she has a passion for helping patients and her community understand complex medication therapies. She has a heart of service and volunteers frequently for church activities. She also loves children and has been a summer camp counselor and church youth worker.
Lindsay is caring, thoughtful, and patient. She is devoted to nurturing the growth of those around her. She likes photography, reading books, making jewelry, knitting, playing piano, and cooking. As a mother, Lindsay looks forward to encouraging your child’s development, talents, and aspirations.
Our Home in Virginia
We live in a 3-bedroom townhouse in an awesome community in Virginia! Our home has a contemporary open floorplan with plenty of space for play and family time. We have a wonderful bedroom set aside for your child. Our neighborhood has extensive green space consisting of playgrounds, baseball/soccer fields, walking trails, tennis courts, and a community swimming pool. We are within walking distance of two lakes, a water park, and a petting zoo. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and close to a community center and other amenities.
Our Family
We love spending time with our family. Most of our family lives close to us, and we get together often for vacations, cookouts, celebrations, and church activities. We come together once a year for a beach vacation and family reunion. We also rotate hosting major holidays, and Lindsay’s Thanksgiving turkey is always a hit!
We both have younger sisters that we are close to. Both of our parents have been married for over 30 years, and have been great examples for us.
Our Promise
We promise that we will provide your child with a home full of love and faith, and a community of friends, family, and church to nurture your child throughout their life. We will love your child unconditionally and support their growth as an individual. We will encourage the importance of God, education, and community in their life. We look forward to exploring and building new memories with your child through travel, cultural and educational experiences.
We are open to sharing letters, pictures, and visits. To learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family | ||
Our Special Interests | Our special interests are photography and home restoration. Lindsay has volunteered and been hired to do photography for weddings, family gatherings, birthdays, and other events. Ryan’s interest in urban planning has drawn him to do urban scenic photography. One of our goals would be to open up a photography gallery together. We also dream of one day owning a second home on the beach that we have restored with a unique sense of place and charm.
Our Faith | We believe in one God, represented in the Holy Trinity, and that Jesus Christ was sent to this world to save mankind. We attend an extremely diverse multiethnic, multigenerational church that has a lot of activities for every walk of life. Most importantly, the church we attend offers truly Bible-based teachings and advice for living a holy life.
Our Musical Interest | We enjoy listening to R&B, Soul, Gospel/Inspirational, Pop, Classical, and even some Country. We are pretty open-minded musically. As a hobby, Ryan likes to mix beats on his computer and make a song or two.
