Hello from sunny southern California! We are excited to introduce ourselves and are honored that you would consider us for your child. We are looking forward to becoming first-time parents through adoption and are open to visits!
We are an active and fun-loving couple who are ready to share our lives with your child. We enjoy exploring the outdoors, riding bikes along the beach, playing board games and ending the day with a good book. We love exploring new places, and are always looking for new adventures and opportunities to learn. We are excited to pass along these passions to your child.
Our Story
We first met online in 2017 and, while on our first date at a coffee shop, we ended up talking for over three hours. The barista had to come over and let us know they were closing. We were married in 2019 and, after facing infertility issues, were led to adoption. We’re excited to become first-time parents through adoption!
We were both born and raised in southern California, and live there now. In our free time, we enjoy going for bike rides, walking our dog Kona, playing games, and traveling. In the summertime, we spend a lot of time on our family’s boat and, in the winter, we enjoy skiing and snowboarding. We are lucky enough to get to spend a lot of time with both of our families and friends- many of whom are currently starting families of their own. We look forward to raising our child surrounded by love from the people who are most important to us. We are looking forward to sharing a life full of faith, family, and adventure with our child!
Meet Jeff
Jeff is a hard-working, reliable, and dedicated family man who makes the best of any situation. He works as a Financial Director and enjoys working with numbers and solving problems. In his free time, Jeff enjoys going bike riding, snowboarding, wake surfing, golfing, and tinkering in the garage. If someone needs anything fixed in their house, Jeff is the guy for the job! I already know he will be an amazing dad- It can already be seen in the way he plays alongside our nieces and nephews. Jeff is looking forward to making memories, going on adventures with our child, and showing them how to work with their hands to fix things.
Meet Amy
Amy is outgoing, loving, and responsible. She makes friends everywhere she goes. Throughout her whole life, Amy has always loved working with children and, as a teacher at a local elementary school, she gets to work with them every day! She has now been working in education for over twelve years. In her free time, Amy enjoys swimming, reading, working on puzzles, going on walks, and spending time with family and friends. Amy is going to make a wonderful mom and I am looking forward to watching her help our child become a well-rounded and thoughtful individual. She is looking forward to sharing her love of reading and outdoor adventures with them.
Our Home in California
We own our inviting, three-bedroom home in a family-friendly neighborhood. We have two open bedrooms, one of which is ready and waiting to become a nursery. We live within a few blocks of a nature preserve and several parks. Most afternoons, we take our dog for a walk on the trails nearby our house. We are surrounded by wonderful schools, including the one Amy teaches at. We look forward to fun activities as a family such as discovering new parks, riding scooters, building forts, and playing games.
Our Family
Our family is very important to us, and we are very lucky to live close to both sides. Whether it be for Sunday night dinner, an afternoon of golf, or a weekend trip, we cherish the time we spend with our families. We also have a larger extended family that all live in southern California. We get together as often as we can, and we are thankful for the time we spend together.
Both of our families are very supportive and excited about our adoption. Most of our siblings live close by. We are looking forward to raising our child alongside our nieces and nephews. On Amy’s side, this will be the first grandchild. Jeff’s sisters are just starting their families; our first nephew was born in March, and we have another on the way. We are excited to share our family traditions and are also looking forward to creating new ones as our family grows.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child unconditionally and to raise them in a warm, loving, and family-centered home. We promise to openly talk about their adoption and make sure they know about you. We promise to raise your child in a Christian home, embrace and foster their interests, and prioritize and emphasize the importance of education. We will always treat your child with love and compassion and look forward to enjoying the outdoors, playing games, and spending time with family and friends. | Our Dog | We have a 2-year-old Golden Retriever named Kona. Kona LOVES people and toys. Kona is a sweet girl who is very gentle with children. She loves to play ball, go swimming and cuddle with us. She's well-behaved and loves joining us for car rides and adventures. Kona will no doubt be there to help with clean-up duty after meals with our child! | |
